GLI antagonist-1 is a potent GLI antagonist with an IC50 value of 1.1 μM. GLI antagonist-1 shows anti-proliferative activity. GLI antagonist-1 decreases the GLI1 mRNA expression. GLI antagonist-1 inhibits colony formation in a dose-dependent manner.

GLI antagonist-1 (compound HPI-1) (0-25 μM; 72 h) shows anti-proliferative activity with IC50 values of 29, >25, 20.5 μM for SUM149, MDA-MB-231, SUM159 cells, respectively.
GLI antagonist-1 (10 μM; 72 h) decreases the GLI1 mRNA expression in SUM149 cells.
GLI antagonist-1 (5, 10, 20 μM) inhibits colony formation in a dose-dependent manner in SUM149 and MDA-MB-231 cells.
